A leading academic medical center in NY is seeking a palliative-trained physician to join their team in a full-time, outpatient capacity. This employed position offers a competitive base salary with RVU-based incentives, a CME allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package, including malpractice coverage, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Job Description:


Compensation : $230000 - $255000 Job ID : 39672

Job Function:

  • Provide outpatient care to cancer patients, focusing on medication and opioid management.

  • Manage a daily patient load of 5–7 patients.

  • Complete clinical documentation and administrative tasks within scheduled outpatient sessions.

  • Collaborate with internal medicine residents or geriatric fellows on rotations.

  • Address patient issues promptly, typically the following day, with no set on-call schedule.

  • Optionally take on additional moonlighting shifts in palliative care for extra compensation.


Job Requirements:

  • Fellowship training in Palliative Care.
  • NY License required.
  • Board Certification required.
  • 1 year of experience.
