A top academic hospital in Brooklyn is seeking a Division Director for its Geriatrics Program. This is a full-time, employed position offering a base salary plus RVU bonus, CME allowance, and comprehensive hospital benefits, including malpractice coverage. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3+ years of academic experience who is ready to step into a leadership role!

Job Description:


Compensation : $265000 - $305000 Job ID : 35973

Job Function:

  • Day Shift.
  • 9AM - 5PM.
  • Provide outpatient care in a modern ambulatory pavilion, focusing solely on geriatric patients with new and follow-up appointments.

  • Participate in light, telephone-only call coverage with minimal after-hours interruptions.

  • Opportunity to earn additional income through optional hospital moonlighting shifts.

  • Support program development through community outreach, marketing, division meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Contribute to the growth of the geriatric fellowship program and lead academic initiatives, including research planning and faculty recruitment.


Job Requirements:

  • 3 years experience in academic environment.
  • Fellowship training in Geriatrics.
  • NY License required.
  • Board Certification required.
