Position Summary:
Responsible for performing various administrative and management duties in directing the activities and functions of the medical staff. Responsible for providing professional physician services and for developing and managing the medical practice for the assigned cost centers.

Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited school of medicine and Board eligible in at least one of the following primary care disciplines: Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics. A minimum of five (5) years' experience in the supervision and management of an urgent and/or primary care clinic. Experience should include leadership responsibilities in building a primary care practice and training/experience in Utilization Review and Quality Management.
Licensing/Certification Requirements:
Valid License by State of Nevada to practice medicine. State of Nevada Pharmacy Board License to Prescribe Medications and DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate. Some positions may require one or more of the following certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Additional Requirements:
Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Practice
Previous experience building and working in an interdisciplinary team.
Previous experience providing and managing the care of patients who are part of a Medicare Advantage program.
Previous experience serving in medical leadership position in a community base environment.
