OnCall solutions has partnered with an organization in Fayetteville, North Carolina that is seeking a medical director. Qualified candidates should be board certified in geriatric medicine, internal medicine or family medicine in order to be considered. This organization’s PACE model is centered around the well-being of seniors with chronic care needs and their families to be served in the community, whenever possible.

Details:

  • Shifts: full-time; M - F.
  • Provide general medical direction & supervision of medical aspects of pt care under supervision of executive director.
  • Responsible for delivery or participant care, clinical outcomes, and oversight of the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
  • Conduct histories and physicals on new participants and event-based and periodic reassessments. Develop medical treatment plans and provide medically necessary services in the range of locations in which participants may reside.
  • Interview and evaluate applicants to PACE Organization and their caregivers and participate in the Intake and Assessment decision.
  • Participates in provider on-call rotations as required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with the frail or elderly population is required (no new grads).
  • Not accepting visa candidates.

Requirements:

  • Active NC license.
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine, OR Family Medicine.
  • Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine ~ Preferred.
  • Clean malpractice.
  • CDS, DEA, BLS.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
