An established practice is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine/Family Medicine physician to become their Medical director and provide full-time coverage to Adult/Elderly patients. JOB ID# 58261
Job Details
- Board Certified/Board Eligible IM, or FM, BC Geriatrics preferred. Must be fellowship trained in BE
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with the frail or elderly population and previous supervisory experience.
- Full-time, day shift, no call
- active IN license in hand, CDS and DEA - Required
- Typical Day - Patient pop = 55+ adults “Adult daycare center” with the clinic (15 mins – 60 mins appt.) 9:30 am – 2 pm scheduled after 2 get through charting, IDP meetings in the morning, ~5-8 visits per day.
- The facility assists older adults in living safely at home. Eligible participants are 55-years old or older, live in the designated service area, meet the state requirements for nursing home care, and are able to live safely in the community
