Position: Medical Director needed In Pittsburgh PA

Healthcare United is currently looking for a Medical Director who is BE or BC certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, with a preference for BC certification in Addiction Medicine or Infectious Disease. We are part of an established Healthcare System and are offering a position to qualified candidates

Overview:

• Must have a current and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in managing Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial populations

• ACLS certification is required

• Ability to provide outpatient care for acutely ill patients, including services such as hydration, IV antibiotics, wound care, etc

• Familiarity with value-based provider programs, utilization management, and HEDIS quality measures

• Previous experience working with underserved populations, community medicine, and value-based care is highly encouraged

• Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM availability

Duties and Responsibilities: 70% administrative and 30% clinical work. The director will be required to see patient on-site.
