Job Responsibilities:

• Manage a multifaceted department with medical staff, which includes generalists and subspecialists, physician assistants and nurse practitioners who practice in the fields of Oncology, Urogynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine and Family Planning
• Participate in an integrated training program with Obstetrics and Gynecology residents
• Conduct educational programs for Medical Students and Allied Health Professional students
• Participate in research programs within the department and Global Health Department
• Provide leadership and oversight of operations of the department including supervision of staff, patient safety and quality of operations
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid New York State License
• DEA and Medicaid number
• Strong clinical abilities, teaching experience, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Prior management and leadership positions
• Experience with academic medical centers preferred
• Background in Maternal Fetal Medicine or other special expertise preferred
