TeamHealth is seeking a board certified or board eligible toxicology director to run the toxicology curriculum and join core faculty for an ACGME-accredited three year emergency medicine residency program.You will live and work in a mecca for environmental toxicology cases as Grand Strand is the busiest Level 1 center on the state, with the only pediatric emergency department in the region. Grand Strand leaders are currently providing medical direction to several local reptile parks. Additionally, the coastal location provides ample exposure to stingray and jellyfish envenomation, as well as annual shark attacks. You will work closely with wilderness medicine track director to incorporate toxicology education into the GME program.

- Work with the South Carolina Poison Control Center
- Proctor both the basic toxicology rotation as well as the advanced toxicology rotation for a three-year ACGME residency program
- Enhance scholarly activity as it relates to toxicology for the department of emergency medicine
