Med Ninjas is seeking a Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine for long term locum tenens coverage at a inpatient/outpatient facility located in York, PA.
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from October 26, 2026 to ongoing.
This assignment includes outpatient clinic coverage, consultative maternal fetal medicine services, ultrasound interpretation, high-risk pregnancy management, and optional night and weekend call.
Locum Tenens Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; night and weekend call preferred
Start Date: October 26, 2026
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details:
Patient Population: Patients age 18+; childbearing years
Setting: Clinic / Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities: Maternal fetal medicine consultations, ultrasound interpretation, management of high-risk pregnancies, and specialty care
Required Procedures: Ultrasound performance and interpretation, Level II targeted ultrasound, echocardiography, and amniocentesis-genetic
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: 2 RN, 2 MA, 2 APP
Days Per Month: 1 week per month up to full-time
On-Call/Weekends: Call not required but preferred; night and weekend call preferred
Required Procedures and Skills
- Pregnancy-induced hypertension
- HELLP syndrome
- Diabetes Type I, Type II, and gestational
- Cardiac, pulmonary, renal, neurological, autoimmune, hematologic/oncologic disorders
- Placenta previa/abruption and multiple gestation
- Amniocentesis-genetic
- Ultrasound performance and interpretation
- Level II targeted ultrasound
- Echocardiography
- Strong ultrasound diagnostic skills preferred
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine – REQUIRED
- Active PA license, IMLC LOQ, or willing to obtain license – REQUIRED
- DEA – REQUIRED
- BLS – REQUIRED
- Minimum 1 year experience – REQUIRED
