Description
A Pennsylvania healthcare system is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for an ongoing locum assignment. The provider will deliver consultative high-risk obstetric care with a strong focus on ultrasound interpretation, maternal-fetal evaluation, and complex pregnancy management.
This is a weekday-only opportunity with no call required and support from APPs, RNs, and medical assistants in a Level III perinatal setting.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide maternal fetal medicine consultations
- Perform and interpret obstetric ultrasounds
- Manage high-risk pregnancies
- Evaluate complex maternal medical conditions
- Perform amniocentesis and genetic evaluations
- Interpret Level II targeted ultrasound studies
- Conduct fetal echocardiography interpretation
- Collaborate with OB and specialty teams
- Document patient encounters in Epic EMR
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Active Pennsylvania license or willingness to obtain
- DEA required
- BLS certification required
- Strong ultrasound interpretation skills preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Working Hours
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
No call required
Full-time coverage (week blocks considered)
