Locum Tenens | Maternal Fetal Medicine | Clinic + Call | Richmond, VA Why This Role

  • High-acuity MFM practice with strong clinical and ancillary support
  • Balanced mix of office and inpatient coverage during an active recruitment period
  • Collaborative two-provider model with APP support
Assignment Details Open dates include 05/08–05/15, 05/16–05/22, and 05/26–05/31 Ongoing dates anticipated but not yet finalized Coverage during recruitment period Average of 27 scheduled patients per day Two-provider service with shared site coverage One APP rotating between sites Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days Clinical Details Office and inpatient MFM coverage High-risk obstetric population with approximately 95% high-risk pregnancies Low-risk pregnancy volume approximately 5% Procedural and clinical scope includes amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, cerclage preferred, management of pre-eclampsia, multiple gestations, growth restriction, chromosomal and congenital abnormalities, pre-term labor, hypertension, thrombophilia, genetic disorders, vaginal and cesarean delivery, and complex maternal or fetal comorbidities Onsite ultrasound available with GE equipment EMR: Epic with Viewpoint Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine Completed MFM fellowship Active VA license BLS required AIUM certification preferred Self-Query NPDB dated within 30 days required at presentation Providers must submit to all required job postings to be considered Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
