Locums | Maternal-Fetal Medicine | Clinic + 2nd Call | Johnstown, PA (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

  • Level 1 hospital with Level 3A NICU
  • Multi-specialty women’s health group
  • Certified Nurse Midwives take 1st call
  • 2nd call/backup only (15-minute response time)
Assignment Details Start: April 9, 2026 Ongoing vacation coverage Initial dates: July 9–10 (additional dates offered throughout the year) Scheduled clinical hours + 2nd call Inpatient and outpatient coverage No routine weekend requirement EMR: Epic Clinical Details Multi-specialty practice: - 2 Perinatologists - 3 OB/GYNs - 1 GYN Strong support staff: - 2 Neonatologists - 3 CRNPs - 5 CNMs - 7 NICU midlevel providers Level 3A NICU Helicopter transport available Outpatient volume: ~30 patients/day Inpatient census: ~10 patients Average deliveries per physician: ~5 per week CNMs take 1st call 15-minute C-section response time Scope of Practice High-risk obstetrics management Level II ultrasounds and fetal echocardiography Amniocentesis and genetic procedures Cerclage placement Multifetal pregnancy reduction Management of complex maternal conditions including: - PIH/HELLP - Diabetes (Type I, II, gestational) - Cardiac, pulmonary, renal, neurologic disorders - Autoimmune and hematologic conditions - Placenta previa/abruption - Multiples gestation Requirements Board Certified through ABOG with subspecialty in MFM Completion of OB/GYN residency (ACGME or AOA) Completion of MFM fellowship (ACGME or AOA) Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC Active PA DEA ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS Compensation Facility accepting bids Malpractice provided Travel & lodging reimbursed
