Locums – Maternal Fetal Medicine
Location: Midlothian, Virginia
Setting: Office and Inpatient Coverage
Reason for Coverage: Recruitment support
AVAILABILITY (Open Dates)
- May 8 – May 15
- May 16 – May 22
- May 26 – May 31
- Board Certified or Board Eligible – Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Fellowship Trained (MFM)
- Active Virginia License
- BLS
- AIUM Certification
- Two-provider MFM service (one per hospital site)
- 1 rotating NP for support
- No supervision required
- Average 27 scheduled patients per day
- 95% High-Risk OB / 5% Low-Risk OB
- Nursery Level III
- 3 exam rooms
- Onsite ultrasound (GE 10)
- No onsite lab
- EMR: EPIC and Viewpoint
- Amniocentesis
- Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS)
- Cerclage (preferred)
- Management of:
- Pre-eclampsia
- Multiple gestation
- Growth restriction
- Chromosomal abnormalities
- Congenital abnormalities
- Pre-term labor
- Hypertension
