A well-established women’s health program in Albany, NY is seeking a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join an experienced team of providers.
This opportunity offers an office-based practice with rotating hospital call responsibilities in a Level III nursery setting. The practice is supported by onsite lab services, ultrasound capabilities, and Epic EMR.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage complex pregnancies and fetal conditions
• Perform and interpret advanced obstetric ultrasounds
• Collaborate with OB/GYN providers and hospital teams
• Participate in 1:3 rotating call coverage
• Provide inpatient consultative services when on call
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation
• Engage in multidisciplinary care coordination
Qualifications
• Fellowship trained in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Active New York State License (or ability to obtain)
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Current NPDB Self Query (within 30 days at presentation)
• Not accepting Locums candidates
• Not open to Visa candidates
• Candidates with lapsed Board Certification will not be accepted
Working Hours
• 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Rotating Call: 1:3
• Average 10–15 patients per day (varies based on visit type and call volume)
Skills
• Advanced ultrasound interpretation
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration
• Clinical decision-making in complex maternal cases
• EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
