Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: July 9-10, additional dates will be offered throughout the year
- Job Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient; Multi-specialty group with 6 total providers (2 Perinatologists, 3 OB/GYN, 1 GYN); Level 3A NICU; Trauma Level 1 facility
- Types of Cases: Outpatient 30 patients per day, Inpatient 10 patients per day, Admissions 2, Discharges 2; Average 5 deliveries per physician per week; High-risk maternal conditions including pregnancy-induced hypertension, HELLP syndrome, diabetes (Type I, II, gestational), cardiac disorders, pulmonary disorders, renal disorders, neurological disorders, autoimmune disorders, hematologic/oncologic disorders, collagen vascular disease; VBAC's, vaginal breech delivery, placenta previa/abruption, multiple gestation; C-sections (15 minute response time), vaginal deliveries, instrument-assisted deliveries; Procedures including amniocentesis-genetic, cervical cerclage, intrauterine transfusion, multifetal pregnancy reduction, fetal blood sampling, chorionic villus sampling; Ultrasounds (Level II/Targeted, Echocardiography); EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: 10 Days
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification through ABOG with a subspecialty in MFM
- Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
- Licensure: PA State License; Active PA DEA; Successful completion of a residency in OB/GYN accredited by the ACGME or AOA; Successful completion of a fellowship in MFM accredited by the ACGME or AOA, will consider IMLC
