- Other details: The facility which is Trauma level 1 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and 2nd Call / Backup call if needed. We are seeking an experienced Perinatologist for coverage on July 9-10, with additional dates available throughout the year. The ideal candidate must have an active state license, a PA DEA, and board certification through ABO+G with a subspecialty in MFM. Completion of a residency in OB/GYN and a fellowship in MFM, both accredited by ACGME or AOA, is required. This multi-specialty group practice includes 6 providers: 2 perinatologists, 3 OB/GYNs, and 1 GYN, with support from 2 neonatologists, 3 CRNPs, 5 CNMs, and 7 NICU in-house midlevel providers. The practice involves both inpatient and outpatient care, with 30 outpatient patients and 10 inpatient patients per day, along with 2 admissions and 2 discharges. The average number of patients per physician is 30 in the clinic and 5 in the hospital, with an average of 5 deliveries per week. There is no weekend requirement, as Certified Nurse Midwives take first call. The practice uses Epic for EMR and offers a Level 3A NICU, helicopter service, and a Certified Nurse Midwife program as part of its ancillary services.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage 30 outpatient patients and 10 inpatient patients per day.
* Handle 2 admissions and 2 discharges daily.
* Perform an average of 5 deliveries per week.
* Respond to C-sections within a 15-minute window.
* Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team, including neonatologists, CRNPs, CNMs, and NICU providers.
* Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
Qualifications
* Board Certification through ABO+G with a subspecialty in MFM.
* Successful completion of a residency in OB/GYN accredited by ACGME or AOA.
* Successful completion of a fellowship in MFM accredited by ACGME or AOA.
Working Hours
* No weekend requirement (Certified Nurse Midwives take first call).
Skills
* Ability to work effectively in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
* Strong collaboration and communication skills with a multi-disciplinary team.
* Proficiency in Epic EMR system.
* Ability to handle emergency situations, including C-sections, with quick response times.
