A well-established healthcare system in Albany, New York is seeking a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join a highly experienced and collaborative team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity in a structured office-based practice with rotating hospital call coverage.

You will join a team of three physicians in a supportive environment with onsite lab and ultrasound services, Level III nursery access, and Epic EMR. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who values high-quality maternal-fetal care, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Maternal Fetal Medicine services in an office-based setting
• Manage high-risk obstetric cases using evidence-based practices
• Participate in a 1:3 rotating call schedule
• Evaluate and manage an average of 10–15 patients per day (varies by visit type and call volume)
• Collaborate with OB/GYN providers, nursing staff, and hospital teams
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
• Provide consultations and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain clinical quality standards and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine (Required)
• Fellowship Training in Maternal Fetal Medicine (Required)
• Active New York State Medical License (Required)
• BLS and ACLS Certification (Required)
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) required at presentation
• Candidates with lapsed board certification will not be considered
• Not open to visa candidates

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Rotating call schedule (1:3 ratio)
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 2.5 – 3 months

Skills

• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
• Proficiency with obstetric ultrasound interpretation
• Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities
• Collaborative team approach
