We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Medical Director to lead our Regional Maternal Fetal Medicine team in West Michigan, covering the Grand Rapids area and the lakeshore.

This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated MFM specialist to provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and strategic program development in a mission-driven healthcare organization focused on high-quality care for complex maternal fetal cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Leadership: Oversee the Maternal Fetal Medicine service line, ensuring the highest quality of care for high-risk pregnancies.

  • Patient Care: Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care, including diagnostics, consultative services, and management of high-risk pregnancies, collaborating with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists.

  • Program Development: Work with administrative and clinical leadership to enhance the Maternal Fetal Medicine program and achieve goals around quality, service excellence, colleague engagement, and financial stewardship.

  • Education & Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to medical students, residents, and junior staff.

Job Responsibilities

Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required)
Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine (Required)
Active MI license (or willingness to obtain)
DEA (or willingness to obtain)
BLS & ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Minimum 5 years of MFM practice experience (post-training)
2+ years of leadership experience or relevant leadership training (Preferred)
Clean malpractice record (Highly Preferred)
Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days, Required)
