Coverage Dates
  • February 13, 14, 15, 16
  • Coverage Type: Locums
  • Specialty: Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) / Perinatology
  • Seeking an experienced Perinatologist
Schedule and Call
  • Scheduled Clinic Hours plus Call
  • Call Type: 2nd Call / Backup
  • Call Response Time: 15 minutes
  • Weekend Requirement: None
  • Certified Nurse Midwives take 1st call
Practice Setting and Volume
  • Practice Type: Multi-specialty group
  • Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
  • Assigned and unassigned rounding patients
Daily Volumes (Average)
  • Outpatient Clinic: 30 patients/day
  • Inpatient: 10 patients/day
  • Admissions: 2/day
  • Discharges: 2/day
  • Average Deliveries per Physician: ~5/week
  • C-Section Response Time: 15 minutes
Facility and Resources
  • Trauma Level: Level I
  • NICU: Level 3A
  • EMR: Epic
  • Ancillary Services:
    • Certified Nurse Midwife Program
    • In-house NICU midlevel providers
    • Helicopter transport services
Provider Team and Support
  • Total Providers: 6
    • 2 Perinatologists
    • 3 OB/GYNs
    • 1 GYN
  • Support Staff:
    • Neonatologists: 2
    • CRNPs: 3
    • CNMs: 5
    • NICU midlevel providers: 7
Licensure, Board Status, and Training (Required)
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC
  • Active PA DEA
  • Board Certified through ABO+G
  • Subspecialty Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • OB/GYN Residency (ACGME or AOA accredited)
  • MFM Fellowship (ACGME or AOA accredited)
Certifications (Required)
  • ABLS
  • ACLS
  • ATLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
