Schedule:
- Clinic: Mon–Fri, 8:00a–4:15p
- Call: Weekday evenings + 24-hour weekend call
Responsibilities:
- Manage high-risk pregnancies (~95% of practice)
- Perform advanced procedures: Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villus Sampling, cerclage (preferred)
- Monitor pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancies, growth restriction, genetic disorders, congenital abnormalities, pre-term labor, and other maternal/fetal complications
- Provide inpatient coverage at hospital
- Collaborate with one other MFM physician and rotating NP
Practice Details:
- Average patients/day: 27
- Support staff: RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, front office team
- Exam rooms: 3
- Ultrasound: Onsite GE 10
- EMR: EPIC & Viewpoint
Requirements:
- Board Certified / Board Eligible MFM
- Completed Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Active VA License
- BLS required, AIUM Certification preferred
Travel & Expenses:
- Flight, hotel, rental car, mileage reimbursed
