A premier physician practice in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician for urgent locum tenens coverage due to a physician resignation. Assignment Details

• Location: Omaha, NE (serving Omaha & Lincoln regions)

• Setting: Clinic, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum

• Clinic Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

  • One no-contact admin day per week

• Call Responsibilities:

  • Weeknights: 5:00 PM–8:00 AM

  • Weekends: 24-hour call

• Patient Volume: ~15–20 clinic patients per day

• Coverage Model: Consultative MFM with some private OB (discussable)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Outpatient MFM consultations

• Ultrasound interpretation (MFM and generalist reads)

• Inpatient consult support

• L&D and postpartum coverage

• Standard MFM and obstetric procedures

Schedule & Availability

• Start date: ASAP (credentialing dependent)

• Ongoing needs with blocks ranging from 3–7 days, including weekends

• Multiple coverage periods available through early summer

Requirements

• Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine

• OB-GYN Residency + MFM Fellowship

• Active NE license (or willingness to obtain)

• BLS, DEA, NRP

• Clean malpractice history strongly preferred

• Minimum 20 deliveries in the past 24 months
