Job description Locum - Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine Lexington, KY

Come join a facility known for expert, compassionate care in managing high-risk pregnancies, offering advanced diagnostic testing such as targeted ultrasounds and amniocentesis, and providing personalized management for complex maternal/fetal conditions within the dedicated women's hospital.

Start Date: Pending Credentialing
Shift: M-Thursday, 8am-5pm
  • 1.5hr/lunch
  • 30-45min charting after last patient of the day
  • No Call
Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient (Consult Coverage)
Duties: Outpatient duties include reading up to 600 ultrasound reports monthly
Patients Per Day: 15-18
Required Procedures: Prenatal diagnostic procedures, amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, first trimester nuchal translucency assessment and ultrasonography
EMR: EPIC/Viewpoint (Ultrasound Reporting)
Support Staff: Clinic Administrator, 1 RN Supervisor, 1 CMA, 2 Receptionists, 3 Permanent Sonographers, 2 Travel Sonographers


Requirements:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • KY State License
  • BLS and DEA
  • Fellowship Trained
  • Clean Malpractice highly preferred
