🩺 Description:
A premium locum assignment for a highly qualified MFM specialist providing consultative high-risk obstetric care across two coordinated hospital locations in beautiful Colorado Springs. Strong support staff, high-acuity OB environment, and competitive pay.
Job Responsibilities
• MFM consultative services (100%)
• High-risk OB evaluations & ultrasound interpretation
• Emergency call coverage with 20-minute response time
• Work collaboratively with RN, medical assistants, sonographers & genetic counselor
• May rotate between Central & North facilities (10.6 miles apart)
• No supervision of mid-levels required
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine — Required
• Active CO License or IMLC LOQ — Required
• Strong consultative OB experience — Required
• Reliable and responsive for on-call duty
Working Hours
• Weeknight call: 5pm–7am (Mon–Thurs)
• Weekend call: Fri 5pm – Mon 7am
• Call ratio: 1:3 (moving to 1:4 soon)
• Daytime duties may include consults, ultrasound, standby
