Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician – El Paso, Texas Position Details * FT, permanent position * Actively seeking a BE/BC Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to join a growing practice * Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM * Daily Patient Census: 16 patients per clinic day * Inpatient Consults: 3–4 per month * Call: Split call ~12–15 days per month (98% managed by phone) * Equipment/Resources: Ultrasound, NST Benefits Details * Guaranteed salary with production bonus * Comprehensive benefits (health, dental, life, 401k with matching, salary deferment program, etc.) * In-house billing, coding, and collections * Paid time off and CME stipend * Malpractice insurance Candidate Requirements * MD/DO degree * BE/BC in Maternal-Fetal Medicine * Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one * Spanish speaking preferred, but not required About the Facility The Hospital is a 218-bed hospital with: * 18-bed Level III NICU * 10-bed Labor & Delivery Unit with 3 C-section rooms * 24-bed Intensive Care Unit * 150 adult beds in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Orthopedic/Neurosurgery, and Progressive Care Units * Eight operating rooms, four endoscopy rooms, and a Pre-Operative Testing Center * Expanded facilities including a 30-bed Progressive Care Unit, additional NICU beds, private triage rooms for obstetrics emergency services, and an additional operating room in Women’s Services * 38-bed Emergency Room with Level II Trauma Center designation in progress * Bariatric care with multidisciplinary approach through Weight Loss Center East * Recognized for advanced care with Get With The Guidelines – Stroke® Gold Plus Award and Primary Stroke Center® designation Community Details El Paso, located in far west Texas along the U.S.–Mexico border, offers a vibrant cultural blend, stunning desert landscapes, and one of the safest metropolitan areas in the country. * Population: 680,000+ (metro area 850,000+; 1M across the border in Juarez, Mexico) * Education & Institutions: Home to a medical school, residency and fellowship programs, and a Division I university * Lifestyle: 300+ sunny days per year, rich culture, and a low cost of living * Recreation: Hiking, mountain biking, and desert exploration at Franklin Mountains State Park and Hueco Tanks * Military Presence: Fort Bliss—one of the largest U.S. Army installations—drives local economy and community engagement * Tax Advantage: No state income tax El Paso offers an ideal mix of professional opportunity and high quality of life, making it a perfect place for physicians seeking both career growth and an active, family-friendly environment.
