Job description
- An excellent opportunity for a Board-Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join a collaborative perinatal team providing both inpatient and outpatient consultative services across two New Jersey locations.
- This role includes advanced prenatal care, support for high-risk pregnancies, and integration with neonatologists, OB generalists, and multidisciplinary teams in a state-of-the-art environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Rotate between two outpatient locations to deliver maternal fetal medicine care and prenatal consultations.
• Interpret and oversee perinatal imaging with GE Viewpoint and Cerner EMR systems.
• Participate in a rotating consultative call schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, OB generalists, and advanced practice providers for comprehensive care.
• Support remote monitoring programs for patients with diabetes and hypertensive disorders.
• Contribute to patient-centered maternal health programs including family planning and postpartum care initiatives.
Qualifications
• Active and unrestricted New Jersey medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
• DEA and CSR/CDS certifications – REQUIRED.
• BLS/ACLS certifications – REQUIRED.
• Proof of COVID and Flu vaccination compliance – REQUIRED.
• Willingness to rotate between multiple clinical sites.
• Malpractice history disclosure required (limitations considered).
• Not open to locums, locum-to-perm, 1099, or visa sponsorship.
Working Hours
• Rotating consultative call with overnight and 24-hour weekend coverage.
Skills
• Strong proficiency in ultrasound interpretation and maternal diagnostics.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
