Texas hospital seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist to cover 1 week per month from 12/01/2025 – 12/31/2026. The provider will manage both clinic (8 AM – 5 PM weekdays) and call responsibilities. Night call (5 PM – 8 AM weekdays) and weekend 24-hour call (7 AM – 7 AM) are required. Patients per shift: 5–8. EMR: Epic. Credentialing: 60–90 days. Active TX license or IMLC accepted.
Job Responsibilities
Provide clinical care for conditions including pregnancy-induced hypertension, diabetes, cardiac, pulmonary, renal, neurological, autoimmune, hematologic/oncologic, and collagen vascular disorders.
Perform advanced procedures: VBACs, vaginal breech delivery, placenta previa/abruption management, multiples gestation, amniocentesis, cervical cerclage, intrauterine transfusion, multifetal pregnancy reduction, ultrasounds, fetal blood sampling.
Participate in night and weekend call coverage as outlined.
Qualifications
Active Texas medical license or IMLC accepted.
DEA registration.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP.
Working Hours
Night call: 5 PM – 8 AM weekdays.
Weekend call: 24-hour coverage (7 AM – 7 AM).
Skills
Effective inpatient/outpatient patient management.
Team collaboration with nursing and support staff.
