A leading health system in southern New Jersey is seeking a Board-Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician to join an established and collaborative perinatal team. This is a full-time opportunity offering a mix of inpatient consultative services and outpatient care across two locations. The MFM physician will be part of a supportive team that includes experienced perinatologists, advanced practice nurses, and a highly skilled care team.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time, 5-day work week (8 AM – 4 PM office hours)
  • Rotating call schedule including nights and 24-hour weekend call
  • Outpatient and inpatient consultative responsibilities
  • Collaborative environment with OB generalists and neonatology team
  • Level III NICU with dedicated L&D and postpartum units
  • Opportunity to work with programs such as remote patient monitoring, diabetes and hypertension management in pregnancy
  • Use of Cerner EMR and GE Viewpoint for ultrasound documentation
Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary of $650,000 annually
  • Annual quality incentive bonus (up to $25,000)

Job Responsibilities

Outpatient Responsibilities:

Provide MFM consults and follow-ups

Rotate between two outpatient sites (Pomona and Atlantic City)

Work closely with perinatal sonographers, RNs, and advanced practice nurses

Support prenatal programs including family planning and maternal wellness initiatives

Inpatient Responsibilities:

Provide consultative services for high-risk pregnancies

Collaborate with OB generalists and neonatologists in a hospital-based childbirth center

Participate in multidisciplinary rounds as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine – REQUIRED

Active and Unrestricted NJ Medical License or willingness to obtain – REQUIRED

DEA and NJ CDS/CSR Certification – REQUIRED

Proof of COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination Compliance – REQUIRED

Willingness to rotate between two locations – REQUIRED

Strong interpersonal, communication, and consultative skills
