Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide specialized care and support for high-risk pregnancies.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to monitor and manage maternal and fetal health.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain potential risks, benefits, and outcomes of procedures and treatments.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in maternal-fetal medicine to provide optimal care.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maternal-fetal medicine practice.
- Strong understanding of fetal anomalies, genetic diagnoses, and management of high-risk pregnancies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Board certification in maternal-fetal medicine preferred.
Skills Required
- Expertise in ultrasound and other imaging technologies related to maternal-fetal health.
- Proficient in prenatal diagnosis and therapy techniques.
- Strong analytical skills to assess complex cases and develop appropriate care plans.
- Ability to maintain composure and make critical decisions in high-stress situations.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and providing ethical care.
