Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician - Locums in Ohio, Optional Call
Outpatient MFM assignment in Akron, Ohio with 100% phone-only call option.
Highlights
- Only 1 week per month; you pick the week
- Optional phone-only call (from home)
- Long-term assignment with weekly pay
- Open dates through summer 2026
Practice Setting
- Outpatient clinic at Akron Children's
- Remote call covers Level III hospital with 3,000 deliveries/year
- Support team: 6 MFMs, 4 APPs, OB, and behavioral health
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4 PM
- Block scheduling possible
- Call rotation 1:3, moving to 1:4; not required
Cases and Procedures
- High-risk pregnancy management (diabetes, genetics, pump patients)
- In-utero procedures: amniocentesis, CVS, cord sampling
- Consultative and co-management model
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in MFM (within 5 years)
- Active Ohio license or IMLC LOQ
- BLS, DEA, PALS, and NRP required
Travel Accommodations
