LOCUM Mammography Radiologist – Springfield, Massachusetts
Breast Imaging | Weekday Schedule | No Call
365 Healthcare is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Mammography Radiologists for a locum opportunity in Springfield, Massachusetts. This assignment offers a predictable weekday schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities while supporting both hospital and outpatient breast imaging services.
Providers will join an established radiology team and work within a well-supported imaging environment with experienced technical and clinical staff.
Schedule Model
• Monday – Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Day shift coverage
• No weekends
• No call
Coverage Needed
• Start as soon as credentialed
• Ongoing locum coverage
• Multiple providers needed
Practice Overview
• Hospital and outpatient breast imaging locations
• Established radiology team
• Full complement of technical and clinical support staff
• EMR: Epic
• Dictation and imaging systems: PowerScribe / PACS
Radiology Team
• Approximately 8 radiologists on staff
• Collaborative diagnostic imaging environment
Clinical Scope
Providers will perform breast imaging interpretation and image-guided procedures including:
• Mammography interpretation
• Breast ultrasound imaging
• Stereotactic breast biopsies
• Ultrasound-guided breast biopsies
• Breast localization procedures
• Mammography-guided biopsies
Patient Population
• Adolescent
• Adult
• Geriatric
Practice Environment
• Hospital-based and outpatient imaging centers
• Dedicated radiology and imaging support staff
• Collaborative multidisciplinary care environment
• Balanced diagnostic and procedural breast imaging practice
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
• Active Massachusetts license or pending application
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Clean malpractice and background history
• NPDB Self-Query report required
