This full-time position offers the chance to work in a supportive environment with advanced breast imaging modalities, including MRI, ensuring you make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. With a structured 6-month contract beginning March 2, 2026, you’ll be part of a dedicated department that emphasizes precision, collaboration, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities include providing high-quality diagnostic and interventional breast imaging, supporting a busy schedule of 26-28 patient diagnostics daily, performing 6-8 breast procedures per day, and reviewing approximately 60-70 wrRVUs. The role involves collaborative work with technologists and support staff, ensuring smooth workflow and patient care.

Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Radiology
- Valid State Medical License (considering IMLC options if applicable)
- DEA Registration
- Current BLS and ACLS Certifications
- Proficiency in Breast MRI procedures
- Strong diagnostic interpretation skills in breast imaging
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in high-volume breast imaging departments
- Skilled in performing and interpreting breast MRI studies
- Familiarity with heavy breast MRI workloads
- Multilingual capabilities or additional certifications in breast imaging
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience in breast imaging
- Proven expertise in mammography, ultrasound, and breast MRI
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (including a 30-minute lunch)
- Compliance with credentialing timelines (approximately 60-90 days)
- Ability to work in a hospital setting
- Full coverage of required licensure and certifications; travel reimbursements provided as applicable
- Flexible to consider IMLC licensing options
