Specialty accepted: Mammography Radiologist / Mammographer
Start date or shifts: ASAP ongoing
Daily schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, rotation of two weeks on and one week off, no call
Practice setting: Hospital onsite
Types of procedures: Screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammograms, 3-D tomosynthesis, mammography and ultrasound guided needle localizations, sentinel node injections, fine needle aspiration/biopsy, bone density studies, breast ultrasound, cyst aspirations, thyroid and breast biopsies, stereotactic breast biopsy, ultrasound-guided breast biopsy interpretation, mammotome biopsy system, percutaneous needle biopsy. General radiology also required including plain film, CT, ultrasound, MRI, and nuclear medicine
Number of cases: Approximately 220 RVUs per 24 hours split between team of radiologists
Ages: All ages
Requirements: Board certified radiologist, Kentucky license, must have mammography background and be comfortable with full scope of procedures, proof of COVID vaccination or exemption required
Additional information: PACS systems include Fuji, GE, Siemens, and Vista. Voice recognition dictation system available with templates. Two week turnaround for temporary privileges with final approval by board. No supervision of advanced practice providers required. Travel and lodging support available
