Job Type : Permanent Placement

Additional Flexibility: Available as mutually agreed
Minimum 3 days/week: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM - PST
Trauma Level : Level 4
Facility Type : Hospital – Breast Center
Practice Type : Hospital-Based (NOT teleradiology or outpatient clinic only)
Modality Focus : Mammography, breast ultrasound, stereotactic & ultrasound-guided biopsies

MANDATED Job Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified (ABR or ABOR) in Radiology – REQUIRED

  • Fellowship-trained OR extensive practice experience in Breast ImagingREQUIRED

  • Active Oregon License (or in process) – REQUIRED

  • BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain) – REQUIRED

  • Proficiency in mammography and breast biopsiesREQUIRED (note in "Experience" field)

  • Candidates must not have applied directly (agency submission eligibility)

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual Compensation (Year 1): $344,000 – $516,000 (based on experience/training)

Job Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Breast Center
• Level 4 trauma designation
• No ER volume
• Use of Powerscribe dictation into EPIC
• EPIC Mammography reporting
Imaging Facilities:
• Silverton: 1 mammography room, 2 ultrasound rooms
• Imaging Center: 1 mammography room, 1 ultrasound room (screening only)
Support Staff:
• 2 daytime ultrasound techs
• 1 mammography tech
• 1 breast navigator (assists with biopsies & follow-up scheduling)
• Teleradiology not used for breast imaging
• Patient demographic: Adult
• On-site physician role within a 250-radiologist Seattle-based practice

Qualifications

Board Eligible or Board Certified (ABR or ABOR) – REQUIRED

Fellowship-Trained OR Extensive Practice Experience in Breast Imaging – REQUIRED

Active Oregon License (or in process) – REQUIRED

BLS Certification (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED
