I am searching for primary care physician to join a not for profit community owned hospital in Kentucky only 2 hours from Nashville, TN joining a group of 5 MDs and 11 support providers. This opportunity would consist of 100% outpatient work or a mix of both inpatient and outpatient services. This opportunity can offer a lot of autonomy and flexibility when it comes to scheduling and the freedom to practice how you wish. The inpatient responsibilities would consist of 1 week a month of hospitalist service with NPs covering nights and admission blocks throughout the day that 3 MDs would rotate through during the week.
This position offers the incoming provider a different take on primary care and the ability to get away from strictly clinic work and let the physician keep up with skills they would not normally need to utilize for a Family Medicine position. You can enjoy the work-life balance you get from a 100% outpatient position but also be able to do a little more intense patient care in the hospital setting as well.
