The ideal candidate has a profound desire to become an expert in the emerging field of precision medicine and is deeply interested in finding meaningful ways to help our clients live quality lives. The incumbent pays attention to detail, is highly organized, effectively multitasks in a demanding environment, takes initiative and can successfully develop and lead a talented clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate client care efforts
• Order various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to gain insight into the client's health status
• Analyze reports and findings of tests and examination to diagnose any conditions
• Apply Comite's established precision health protocols and principles in developing/monitoring customized treatment plans
• Ensure Comite's standards of quality healthcare and privacy
• Advises patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease
• Consult with the appropriate medical specialists when necessary and refer patients as needed
• Deliver overall excellence of client care and practice efficiency
• Direct the clinical team
• Oversee medical recordkeeping and client communications
• Maintain productive partnerships with the administrative team and external service providers
• Participate in ongoing research projects
• Maintain current knowledge of developments and studies relevant to the field of medicine

Qualifications

• Medical degree conferred by an accredited college or university
• Training in internal medicine or a related field is a plus
• Valid and active medical license to practice in the state of New York
• Board certification/eligibility
• At least 5 years of demonstrated clinical experience in private practice or hospital setting
• Consideration will be given to applicants with a fellowship.
