Internist needed to join this community as a hospital employee. The current internists are not taking new patients and there are not enough IM' s to support the community. Current IM' s are seeing 15-20 pts a day. The service area is 40-50K. The payer mix is 5% medicaid, 40% medicare, 3% self pay and 53% commercial. There is 0% HMO. Physicians need to live within 20 minutes of the hospital.
