Internal Medicine opening in Louisiana Located in Lake Charles, LA 1 hour to Beaumont TX 2 hours to Baton Rouge LA Full time, permanent opening The incoming internal medicine physician will enter a work environment characterized by collaboration and support. The presence of abundant multidisciplinary resources and specialists within the health system ensures that they are poised for professional success. 4 ½-day work week BC/BE Internal Medicine Physician Direct employment by Lake Charles Memorial Health System Engage in shared clinic call schedules Established and stable practice with other physicians Flexible model options: Traditional practice or Ambulatory only High patient volume opportunities No unassigned call duties Potential to augment practice with additional roles including; inpatient rehabilitation rounding, long-term acute care (LTAC) rounding, and/or nursing home rounding/directorships Hospital, the main campus of the Health System, is the region's largest family-centered medical complex, serving the healthcare needs of Southwest Louisiana.
