Description: Hiring an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician for a Healthcare Center that provides quality health care to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities in all their diversity regardless of ability to pay. Seeking an experienced, dedicated Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join a team in providing primary care services to a panel of diverse patients at new clinic. The Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician will maintain a high degree of professional competence and functions as a reliable member of a patient care team.

Responsibilities:

• 100% out patient
• Manage a daily patient load that rarely reaches 20 patients per day
• Manage a team of three Nurse practitioners
• No pediatric patients

Education Requirements:

• BC or BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• NY State Medical License

Experience Requirements:

• At least 3 years of practice experience is required

Desired Skills:

• Comfortable with HIV/AIDS patients and families
• Comfortable with LGBT community.
• Prior HIV or LGBT practice experience is not required but is helpful.
• Spanish speaking skills preferred but not required
