Overview:
Our internal medicine practice in Waldorf is seeking a Physician to provide comprehensive internal medicine care with a strong emphasis on chronic disease management and preventive health. No experience is necessary — new grads and experienced physicians alike are encouraged to apply for this full-time, Monday–Friday role.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed history taking, physical examinations, and appropriate diagnostic workups
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Document all patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in the EHR, ensuring compliance with practice and regulatory standards
• Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary providers to ensure seamless, integrated care for complex patients
• Provide patient counseling and education on diagnoses, treatment options, medications, lifestyle modification, and preventive health strategies
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results, adjusting management plans based on clinical findings and patient response
• Participate in case discussions, care conferences, and interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes
• Contribute to practice quality improvement initiatives, including population health management and adherence to clinical guidelines

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
• Active, current medical licensure (MD/DO) in Maryland
