DO;MD - Internal Medicine
Job Details:
Precept and provide direct supervision for residents in an outpatient clinic during AM and PM half-day sessionsFour (4) half-day sessions per week required
Full-time schedule includes 9 half-day clinical sessions and one half-day administrative session per week
Part-time schedule includes 4 half-day clinical sessions per week with no administrative session
See 10-14 patients per half-day session in an ambulatory setting
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population
Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions through comprehensive evaluation, testing, and clinical assessment
Prescribe and manage medications, therapies, and treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families by clearly explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans
Mentor, coach, and serve as a trusted advisor to Internal Medicine residents
Lead formal and informal resident evaluations and provide meaningful feedback to support resident growth
Active MD license required
Local or drive-in candidates preferred; if lodging is needed, please clarify frequency in presentation
Prior precepting experience preferred
