Physician - Internal Medicine Hospitalist
Location: NC
Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM; coverage dates documented (Dec 25-29)
Position Overview
Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage on night shift, including admissions and overnight coverage responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide inpatient-only hospitalist coverage during night shift hours
Manage an average of 15 patients per provider per day
Manage approximately 4-6 admissions per night
Provide ICU/critical care duties including ventilator management (procedures optional)
Document care in the electronic health record (Epic)
Required Qualifications
Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
AHA ACLS
Epic experience
Availability to attend orientation the day prior to the scheduled start date
