- Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Endoscopy procedures with a 1-hour unpaid lunch)
- Hours/Week: Full-time
- Employment Type: Contract
- Licenses/Certifications: Maryland medical license required
- Experience: Prior experience in Gastroenterology preferred
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour

- Perform upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, and combined procedures scheduled with moderate sedation
- Ascertain patient safety while administering sedation (moderate sedation, no general anesthesia)
- Collaborate with nursing staff for sedative administration
- Manage procedures efficiently within scheduled time slots
- Maintain patient care standards and document procedures accurately
- Follow safety protocols and procedural guidelines
- Support the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Required:
- MD or DO degree with Maryland medical license
- Experience performing endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy
- Comfortable with moderate sedation and patient monitoring
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a busy endoscopy suite
- Familiarity with sedation protocols and patient safety procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
