Job description
• We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive medical care in an established healthcare environment in Southern Nevada.
• The physician will establish and maintain strong relationships with patients while delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care services.
• The role includes care for both adult and pediatric populations, participation in a physician call schedule, and collaboration with healthcare professionals across multiple outpatient locations.
• Multiple clinic locations are available throughout Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, and Henderson.
• The position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, including an employer-paid Nevada PERS pension plan.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients and families.
• Develop individualized treatment and care plans based on patient needs.
• Provide preventive healthcare and health education.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with applicable regulations and clinical guidelines.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with specialists and outside agencies as appropriate.
• Participate in the physician call schedule.
• Deliver services that address patients’ medical, social, and emotional needs.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, emergency response, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Provide outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible as an American Board of Family Medicine Physician.
• Valid Nevada medical license required.
• Nevada State Pharmacy Board license to prescribe medications required.
• DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate required.
• Current BLS certification accepted by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Strong knowledge of medical care principles and practices.
• Knowledge of adult and pediatric healthcare.
• Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and applicable healthcare regulations.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare professionals.
