Job description
We are seeking an Internal Medicine physician for a permanent position in Littleton, Colorado. This is a full-time outpatient permanent placement with an established independent private practice. Please see below for more information.
- Independent outpatient private practice, part of a group of practices in the Denver metro area
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Team-based care model with embedded care coordination, patient education, and behavioral health support
- Family Medicine and Geriatrics-trained physicians will also be considered
- Geriatric fellowship training or medicine subspecialty interests welcome
Job Responsibilities
Manage chronic disease, preventive care, and acute presentations in the clinic setting
Provide clinical supervision and collaboration for advanced practice providers
Precept medical students and advanced practice provider students in the clinic setting
Coordinate care alongside embedded care coordination, patient education, and behavioral health team members
Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic studies
Participate in population health and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Active Colorado medical license required, or eligibility for Colorado licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) - IMLC is the only licensing pathway accepted for this role
Working Hours
Full-time, 5x8 schedule
