Facility:
This facility is the only hospital in the county, serving as a cornerstone of healthcare for the surrounding community. The practice operates primarily in an office-based setting connected to the hospital, with access to an 8-bed ICU and 16-bed Medical/Surgical unit supported by a collaborative team of internists and family practice physicians.Opportunity:
Physician - Internal MedicineJob Details:
- Join an established team of one internist and six family practice physicians in a thriving lakefront community
- Primarily office-based practice in space directly connected to the hospital
- Option to follow and treat admitted patients or refer them to a Hospitalist with post-discharge follow-up
- Anticipated weekly work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, plus call rotation
- Back-up call is by phone only and filtered through ARNP or PA support
- Anticipated patient volume of 15-22 office patients per day
- Provide Internal Medicine support to Hospitalist covering an 8-bed ICU and 16-bed Medical/Surgical unit
- Average daily census: ICU = 4 patients; Medical/Surgical = 15 patients
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine required
