Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only (No Call)
EMR: Epic
Practice Setting: Outpatient Community Health Center
Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Support Staff: 1 RN, 2 MAs per provider (No APP supervision required)
Board Certification: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)
Fellowship: Not Required
License: Active CA Medical License required
Certifications: BLS and Active DEA required
Patients Per Shift: 18 patients/day (Mix of adults and pediatric patients)
Admissions Required: No

Position Overview:
A community health center in Arcata, CA is seeking a Locum Tenens Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide outpatient clinic coverage from October 2026 through April 2027. The practice environment is structured around daytime clinic hours with no hospital rounding, call, or weekend requirements. Both MD and DO candidates will be considered.Required Skills:
