We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in a well-established outpatient community health setting in Northern California. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, no call responsibilities, and the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population
Position Highlights
- Ongoing locum tenens assignment
- Outpatient-only practice
- Monday-Friday schedule
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Epic EMR
- No call
- No inpatient responsibilities
- No admissions required
- Average patient volume: 16-18 patients per day
- Adult and pediatric patient population
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
Perform preventive and wellness visits
Care for both pediatric and adult patients
Manage chronic disease and chronic pain patients
Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Board Eligible candidates considered if within five years of residency completion
Active California Medical License
Active DEA required prior to start date
Current BLS certification
Comfortable seeing adult and pediatric patients
Working Hours
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
