We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join a growing concierge primary care practice in Napa, California.

Position Overview

The physician will provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients in a concierge medicine setting, with an emphasis on preventive care, wellness, chronic disease management, and individualized treatment plans. This role offers a collaborative environment, modern clinical resources, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for clinical leadership and practice development.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care for adult patients.
• Conduct preventive health evaluations and develop individualized wellness plans.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and manage chronic medical conditions.
• Counsel patients on lifestyle changes, disease prevention, and long-term health optimization.
• Build trusted, long-term physician-patient relationships through accessible, personalized care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate care.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical excellence initiatives.
• Help develop and improve clinical protocols and care-delivery processes.
• Serve as a clinical leader and mentor to members of the healthcare team.
• Participate in community outreach and health education as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory, professional, and practice standards.

Qualifications

Required

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted California medical license, or eligibility for California licensure.
• At least five years of adult primary care experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using electronic health records and modern healthcare technology.

Preferred

• Experience in concierge medicine, membership-based healthcare, or another relationship-driven primary care model.
• Clinical leadership, quality improvement, team oversight, or physician education experience.
• Interest in mentoring clinicians and contributing to practice growth.
• Experience caring for diverse adult patient populations.
