We are seeking a Locums Residency Preceptor Physician to provide adult and geriatric outpatient care in Jackson, MI. This role focuses on supervising resident physicians and clinic staff, providing guidance and oversight in a structured outpatient setting. There is no call or emergency department coverage required.
Schedule
- Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, daily clinic shifts
- Weekend Requirements: None
- Patient Load: Adult and geriatric outpatients
- Supervision: Resident preceptors and clinic staff
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive adult and geriatric outpatient care
- Supervise and mentor resident physicians during clinical shifts
- Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in educational activities for residents as required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the clinic EMR
Requirements
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Active Michigan medical license
- BLS certification
- Experience in adult and geriatric outpatient care
- Strong teaching, mentorship, and communication skills
