Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology
Join Our Team as an Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Specialist and Make a Difference in Patient Care! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled physician to provide exceptional hematology and oncology services within our outpatient clinic, offering an excellent opportunity to impact patient lives through comprehensive care. This full-time locum position runs from May through August with the potential for extension, perfect for professionals looking to contribute their expertise in a dynamic environment.
Required Skills:
- Valid medical license and board certification in Hematology and Oncology or Internal Medicine with subspecialty training
- Proven experience in outpatient hematology and oncology care
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with telemedicine or outpatient clinic workflows
- Additional certifications in palliative care or related fields
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Completion of fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology
- Minimum of 3 years of post-residency practice experience in an outpatient setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with no call responsibilities
- Ability to work overtime after 40 hours per week
- Flexibility to work three or more weeks per month; less than that may not be suitable for this role
- Willingness to travel for licensure, certification, or reimbursement of travel expenses when applicable
